Le Potager des Princes, parc animalier et animé

Annabel and Yves Bienaime, creators of the Living Horse Museum in 1982, saved the Faisanderie of the Grand Condé, in 2000, from a development project of 58 houses.

In 1682, the Grand Condé called André Le Nôtre. He designed the terraces that thankfully are still there.

La Faisanderie, it's  converted to Roman Pavilion in 1773, and is sold as national property during the Revolution. The park consists of a forest, which became a romantic garden with a pond on the 19th century. Rotunda paintings dating from the 18th century, have been restored and incorporated to the "Connaissances des Arts, unique in France.

Annabel and Yves Bienaimé open the park to the public calling it the Potager des Princes by analogy to the Potager du Roi at Versailles as Quintinie, gardener of Louis XIV, and André Le Nôtre were here.

Today, after fifteen years of enormous work without subsidies, restoration and creation, the park has been completed.

The famous princely theater of the castle was destroyed during the Revolution, there was nothing in Chantilly since. The Bienaimé build the Theaterof the Faisanderie where every summer, takes place the festival "Scene in the garden."
