The ficelle picard

The creation of the "Ficelle Picard" dates from 1950 in Amiens by chef Marcel Lefèvre.  

Exhibition of the Hotoie was taking place at Amiens; a meal had to be served to the  members of the department. For this event, known Amien’s chefs get involve to the creation of a menu, each one brought their ideas and imagination. Then the "Ficellle Picarde" was born...

Crepe stuffed with mushrooms and ham. Wrapped, covered with fresh cream and gruyere cheese, then it goes to the oven. A simple but delicious dish!
